We are pleased to announce that the Call for Papers for the Special Issue “Empowering Change: Navigating Twin Transitions and Enhancing Civic Engagement in Higher Education” is now online, hosted by the European Journal of Education: Research, Development and Policy.

Guest-edited by Stefania Capogna and Maria Chiara De Angelis, this special issue aims to explore how higher education institutions are evolving in response to the digital and ecological transitions, while promoting inclusive learning and active citizenship.

We warmly invite you to submit your contributions on topics including, but not limited to:

• University strategies and policies for the twin transitions
• Sustainable and inclusive educational practices
• Curricular innovation in the digital and ecological era
• The role of artificial intelligence in teaching and research
• Civic engagement and participation in tertiary education
