GSA Colloquium Event 4: Globalization, Pandemic and Post-Apocalypse

You are warmly invited to join the Global Studies Association (GSA) 2021 Colloquium, involving six online events with global studies scholars, on some of the key issues facing humanity today.

Our fourth event in the series will take place on Friday 17 September 2021, 4-5.30pm (BST).

During this panel we have three Global Studies scholars presenting their work and reflections on processes of globalization, the impacts of the COVID-19 global pandemic and notions of the post-apocalypse. Dr Darren O’Bryne from Roehampton University with present and also moderate the event, and he will be joined by Dr Rafal Soborski from Richmond University and Professor Jerry Harris, who is the National Secretary of the North American branch of the Global Studies Association. Each paper will be 15 minutes with plenty of time for questions from participants and discussion of these crucial issues.
